2 Recipes for a Delicious Honey Almond & Pear Parfait

For a delicious and healthy snack, try one of these easy parfait recipes. Combining sweet, fruity pears and salty almonds and granola, you'll have the perfectly blended yogurt treat. Recipe #1: Honey Yogurt Parfait with Pears and Granola
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain vanilla yogurt
- 1 pear diced, not peeled
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp granola
- 1-2 tbsp sliced almonds
Directions:
- In a small bowl combine yogurt and honey.
- Layer the bottom of the bowl with yogurt, then a layer of pears, and top with a final layer of yogurt.
- Sprinkle with granola and almonds.

Recipe #2: Pear Compote Parfaits
Makes 2 parfait bowls
Ingredients:
Pear Compote:
- 1 15-oz can pear halves or 2 whole pears
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of salt
Yogurt and toppings:
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1.5 cups granola
- 1-2 tbsp sliced almonds
Directions:
- Add the pear compote ingredients to a pot over medium heat. Cook for about 10 minutes, then leave the mixture to cool.
- Once cool, add the compote to the bottom of two bowls. Top with the yogurt, granola, and sliced almonds.
- Enjoy!
