Skull Pillar Candle
This white skull pillar candle is a great addition to your Halloween home decoration this year.** While these pillar candles are best used for decoration, you can burn them as well with a few safety precautions [please read below!]
Wax weight: 9Â oz
Burn time: 18-40 hours dependent on wick trimming and inevitable variability in burning
Safety Notes for Burning:
- Only burn on flat, heat-resistant surfaces like marble, granite, iron, metal, ceramic, or whatever application is designed for use of candles.
- Do not place candle in a breezy location or where animals or children can reach.
- The candle WILL spill wax, usually through the nose or eyes, so make sure you place the candle on a surface that can catch the spilled wax like the tray pictured which has a lip. Once the wax hardens, you should be able to break it off of the surface. Spillage will typically occur ~6 hours into burning, but may not spill on every burn as the melt pool tunnels into the thick of the skull.
- Never leave the candle unattended.
- Trim the wick after each burn to extend the life of the candle.
- Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time.Â
Here are some of my favorite candle holders on Amazon for this pillar candle:
- Blacksmith Candle Holder (pictured!)
- Marble Vanity Tray
- Metal Matte Black Candle Holders - spooky set of 3 I really want to try!
** Whiteness of skull may vary with different scents. For example, Pumpkin Spice Latte may produce a more creamy, yellowish color. Scent of pictured skull is Apple Cider Donut.
